The east Vancouver office of Raymond James Financial Services started in 1992 when Destry Witt joined Robert Thomas Securities, then a subsidiary of Raymond James & Associates. At that time the firm concentrated in stock and bond trading for institutional accounts and wealthy individuals. With the addition of new staff in 1998, retirement planning became an additional focus. Today the firm specializes in retirement planning and investment management.

Working with small business clients from Alaska to southern California and Hawaii to Colorado to design and manage the investments of their 401K employee benefits, the firm emphasizes effective decision making skills and the client’s perspective before making recommendations. Being independent Financial Advisors affords us the ability to consider the investors unique planning and investment needs including how we are compensated. We literally have no preference as to whether we are paid in commission, fees based on assets under management or an hourly rate. What we do prefer is that our compensation be fair and preferable to our clients.

Clients should periodically re-evaluate whether the use of an asset-based fee continues to be appropriate in servicing their needs. A list of additional considerations, as well as the fee schedule, is available in the firm's Form ADV Part II as well as the client agreement.Securities offered through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.
